Farya is a highly accomplished Senior Counselling Psychologist with over 12 years experience helping individuals and couples overcoming wide range of difficulties.
Farya utilizes her expertise in both psychology and psychotherapy. She enables clients to understanding what is keeping them stuck and how to utilize interactive strategies and tools to develop the skills required, to overcome difficulties in new and more effective ways.
Farya helps both individuals and couples tackle a wide range of issues including: relationship difficulties, trauma and PTSD, abuse, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, phobias, addiction, bereavement and loss, anger management, bipolar and borderline personality disorders, self esteem, OCD, separation and divorce.
Farya has gained considerable clinical experience in number of settings including private practice, NHS and charity sector counselling services. Farya has written and delivered courses and workshops on anger management, trauma, anxiety and relationships. She has managed a number of counselling services and clinics overseeing the clinical work of other therapists.
She is an experienced clinical supervisor providing support and guidance to other psychotherapists and psychologists, both qualified and in training.
Farya is a chartered counselling Psychologist and an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is fully trained to apply different models of therapy based on the client’s needs. These models include Psychodynamic therapy, Person centered Therapy and Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and integrative therapy.
Farya is a registered member of the HCPC and the BPS.
