Halima is a highly experienced CBT psychotherapist and integrative counsellor with over 15 years clinical experience. When working with clients Halima draws upon a wide range of therapies, including CBT, psychotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness (MBCT) and coaching.
Halima works collaboratively, tailoring her approach, to help you understand and constructively change problematic beliefs and patterns of behaviour that inhibit your ability to realise your personal goals. Halima enables clients to proactively change areas of difficulty and overcome problematic blocks or stuckness. She can show you strategies and tools which can help you improve relationships, build self-confidence and live a more fulfilling life.
Halima supports individuals in addressing a wide range of issues including:

Halima has reached senior levels in her clinical expertise through a variety of settings, including the GP Surgeries, NHS Mental Health IAPT service, Workplace Employee Assistance Programmes, NHS Hospitals, Private Healthcare Hospital, Private Practice, Charitable Organisations, Schools and Forensic Services.
She also practises as a Clinical Supervisor in the NHS.

Halima is a qualified psychotherapist with an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR Certs Parts 1, 2 and 3. BSc (hons) Psychology, Diploma in CBT, Diploma in Integrative Counselling, PGDip Human Resources, CertHE Law. She has received post graduate training in EMDR, PTSD, OCD trauma, self-esteem and shame related issues.
Halima holds professional recognition and accreditation with the UK’s recognised governing bodies: BABCP, BPS, UKCP and BACP.

Halima is a registered provider of psychotherapy for Healthcare Insurance companies including Aviva, AXA, BUPA International (we do not work with BUPA UK), and Allianz.
