Jacqui is a highly experienced therapist with more than 11 years experience, working with adults across a wide range of issues.
She provides a safe and robust space in which you can gain new perspectives and clarity regarding problem areas. She is adept in facilitating her clients ability to overcome blocks to positive change, in a proactive way. Jacqui will help you understand how difficult feeling states, negative thoughts and/or behaviours have developed and how to implement positive strategies to breakthrough stuckness and achieve your goals. Jacqui is adept at empowering her clients with the ability to develop more fulfilling relationships, build greater self-confidence and live more satisfying and meaningful lives.

Jacqui has provided therapy in the private sector, NHS and charity sectors. She has also provided therapy for workplace EAP schemes. She has managed a counselling service and provided NHS GP based counselling. She has worked as a counsellor for a range of charities such as Ellenor Lions Hospice, One in Four and Granville Consultancy. She has been a Senior Psychotherapist with Young Mums Aid. Jacqui also provides clinical supervision to qualified psychotherapists and student counsellors.
Jacqui holds a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, and additional training in solution focused therapy and CBT therapy (for depression, anxiety and panic). Jacqui has undertaken additional training in mindfullness meditation, relational mindfulness, depression, trauma, shame, self-harm, abuse, bereavement, OCD, NLP, psychological disorders and attachment theory (which illuminates the impact of early relationships on “character” “self” and adult relationships), Narcissism, Borderline Personality Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, personality disorder, learning through dreams, domestic abuse, coercive control, suicide and clinical Assessments. She has completed a Therapy for Depression certificate with Tavistock Relationships sponsored by the NHS IAPT service. She holds a certificate in Transactional Analysis and a Clinical Supervision training and has additional training in Existential Therapy. She regularly attends continuing professional development seminars and peer groups to enhance her professional development.
Jacqui holds professional recognition and accreditation with the UK’s recognised governing body: BACP.

Jacqui is a registered provider of counselling and psychotherapy for Healthcare Insurance companies including Cigna and Aviva.
