Neurodiversity Therapy in London
With a National Award (BACP) for clinical excellence in therapy provision, Maggie Morrow founded Klearminds in 2008 and brings you a team of highly experienced neurodiversity therapists in London. Our therapists can help you understand how your brain works, reduce overwhelm and find practical ways to work with your strengths and challenges rather than trying to “fix” you.
Finding the right neurodiversity counsellor shouldn’t feel like another place where you have to perform. With over 30 years of experience, our Clinical Directors can recommend the best therapist who understands neurodiversity and will work in a way tailored to you.
We offer therapy rooms in Central London, the City of London and online therapy options.

What is Neurodiversity?
Neurodiversity recognises the natural and valuable differences in how people think, process information, communicate, feel and experience the world. This includes ADHD, autism, AuDHD, dyslexia and other forms of cognitive variation.
Being neurodivergent isn’t something to be “fixed”, it is a different way of being, with its own patterns, strengths and ways of engaging with life. Many neurodivergent people bring qualities such as creativity, hyperfocus, empathy, innovation and fresh perspectives that can be valuable in relationships, work and everyday life.
At the same time, challenges can arise, not because of who you are, but because many environments and expectations are not designed with neurodivergent minds in mind. This can sometimes lead to:
- Feeling overwhelmed or experiencing sensory overload in busy or unpredictable environments
- Difficulties with planning, organisation, motivation or completing tasks
- Sensory sensitivities to noise, light, touch or other aspects of your environment
- Difficulty navigating unspoken social expectations or communication differences
- Fatigue or burnout from adapting to fit in (“masking”)
- Relationship difficulties, including feeling misunderstood or experiencing differences in communication
- Feeling misunderstood in relationships or at work
- Self-doubt or low self-esteem shaped by past experiences
- Anxiety or stress in high-demand environments
- Emotional dysregulation, where emotions can feel particularly intense or difficult to manage
- Difficulty switching off, recovering from demands or regulating your nervous system
With the right understanding and neurodiversity support, these challenges can become more manageable while your individual strengths have more opportunity to develop.

How Can KlearMinds Help You?
At KlearMinds, we provide private neurodivergent therapy, neurodiversity counselling and support that helps you make sense of your unique patterns; how you think, process, feel and respond to the world around you. Our approach isn’t about forcing you to “fit in” or behave in a more neurotypical way. Instead, our expert therapists help you understand how your mind works, identify what you need and find ways to navigate life that feel more natural and sustainable.
Our therapists draw upon a range of evidence-based therapies and take a strengths-based approach to therapy, recognising your individual abilities as well as helping you address the difficulties you may be experiencing. Alongside this insight, we provide you with practical strategies to manage difficulties, regulate overwhelm and feel more confident being yourself.
Together, you can build a personalised toolkit that works with your brain, whether you want help with executive functioning, sensory needs, emotional regulation, masking, burnout, communication, work or or relationship difficulties. The aim is not to push through difficulties or change who you are, but to help you feel more at ease, better understood and more confident navigating life in a way that works for you.
Our expert therapists can help you:
- Understand how your neurodivergence shows up for you, developing greater clarity, self-awareness and self-acceptance
- Manage overwhelm, sensory overload and neurodivergent burnout, helping you protect your energy and recognise when you need to recover
- Improve executive functioning, finding practical approaches to focus, motivation, organisation and completing tasks that work with your natural patterns
- Develop tools to manage emotional dysregulation and anxiety, learning practical ways to respond to intense emotions, reduce overwhelm and feel more regulated.
- Understand masking and reduce the pressure to “fit in”, helping you feel more comfortable and confident being yourself
- Build stronger relationships, understanding communication differences, expressing your needs and developing clearer boundaries
- Navigate workplace challenges, finding ways to communicate, manage demands and work more effectively while recognising your strengths
- Strengthen self-esteem, moving away from comparison and self-criticism towards greater confidence and self-trust
- Create routines, systems and practical strategies, making everyday life more manageable and sustainable
- Build long-term resilience, developing greater confidence in navigating challenges while making better use of your individual strengths
Neurodivergence isn’t something that needs to be changed or overcome. With the right neurodiversity support, you can develop a clearer understanding of how you function, recognise what you need, build on your strengths and create ways of living and working that feel more sustainable and authentic.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How long will it take for neurodiversity therapy to help?
-
The time it takes to see improvements can vary depending on your individual needs, the challenges you are experiencing and what you would like to achieve. Some clients begin to notice positive changes within the first few sessions, particularly as they develop a better understanding of how their brain works and learn practical strategies to manage emotional regulation, communication difficulties, sensory sensitivities or executive functioning challenges. Some people find that 6 to 12 sessions work well for them, while others benefit from further sessions. Your therapist will work with you to identify your goals and recommend a therapy plan that best suits your needs.
