This year’s World Mental Health Day offers us an opportunity to put the spotlight on mental health in the workplace. For many, the fast-paced world of work means that a considerable number of workers are experiencing stress, anxiety, and burnout.

What can I do to improve my mental health at work?

Here are some helpful tips to relieve stress, reduce anxiety and prevent burnout at work.

  • Try practising mindfulness – this can help you feel clearer and calmer when managing challenges or conflict at work
  • Do regular physical exercise – this helps to regulate and reduce stress in the body and brings clarity to the mind
  • Take the holidays you’re entitled to – breaks from work re-energize the body and mind and can help us feel more rested, focused and productive when we return to work after a break
  • Check out books and podcasts on strategies for mental wellbeing at work and you will find lots of helpful tips.
  • Read some of our other blogs which provide tips on how to overcome challenges at work and in life:  https://www.klearminds.com/blog/
